Papers & Presentations
We started our firm at the dawn of the “Cheap Terabyte”, adopting the early tenets of analytics, business intelligence and “Big Data”. These included analytical data workflows, functional languages, data maps and provenance.
Reactor Fuel markets
The first study of rector fuel markets, examining pricing and liquidity from 2005 to 2009. The paper was delivered at the World Nuclear Fuel Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. The uranium market currently functions sub-optimally. This is particularly evident when sellers really need buyers. This is a chronic and debilitating problem during periods of market weakness. Weak markets like the one we just experienced.
Agent Based Simulation
Agent-based computational economics (ABC-E or ACE) represents micro-level corporate decision-making and market interactions in a global macro-model. An agent-based model consists of autonomous decision-making entities (agents), an environment through which agents interact (grid), rules that define the relationship between agents and their environment (network), and rules that determine sequencing of actions in the model (logic).
